Mercedes-Benz has teamed up with smart watch manufacturer Pebble Technology to create its own smart watch app which will be unveiled at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
The app will allow Mercedes owners to link their vehicle up to their smart watch and the Mercedes-Benz Digital DriveStyle app will change modes depending on whether the owner is inside or away from the vehicle. When the owner is outside the vehicle, the app will display info such as fuel level, door-lock status and vehicle location.

While driving, the smart watch app will switch modes and features a vibrating alert for real-time hazards like accidents, road construction or stalled vehicles on the road. The app can also be customized to show auto routing, Siri activation, media remote control and traffic conditions.
