Inspired by the compact 4C sports car, Alfa Romeo has unveiled its IFD bicycle with a starting price of 3,500 euros ($4,735).
The IFD, which stands for Innovative Frame Design, was designed by the Alfa Romeo Style Centre and Compagnia Ducale. As its name entails, the bicycle features an innovative, lightweight frame and is hand-built to be as light as possible.

Weighing in at just 15.2 lbs, the Alfa Romeo 4C IFD features a carbon fiber chassis and fork and is mostly comprised of components from Campagnolo. It will come finished in the Italian automaker’s red shade with Vittoria Open Corsa CX tires.
The bicycle can also be customized to your liking, with pricing topping out at 9,000 euros ($12,180). The Alfa Romeo 4C IFD will be available from December 2013 in Europe, Asia and America.
